Eugene, Ore. — A Vancouver senior-living company may build a large new nursing home in northeast Eugene.

Prestige Care Inc. is eyeing a 3-acre lot to build a two-story, 69,000-square-foot nursing facility with 80 to 106 patient beds, according to preliminary planning documents filed with the city of Eugene in late August. The site is next to the Crescent Village residential and retail development and near the Veterans Affairs clinic being built.

The Crescent Avenue proposal is tentative, according to the documents.
