Letter: Switch source of your information

By Ken Koch, Ridgefield

After reading his Sept. 7 letter, “Respect for law disintegrating,” I would like to suggest a cure for Randy Haas’ being “terrified of what the future might hold” — change channels. If someone can connect the spate of police shootings to our president, it is obvious where they get their information. Fox created the Tea Party; the Republications eagerly embraced this fearful group of voters. Fox News fed their fears with ridiculous drivel. So here we are — people really that think the president is a cop-killing, Kenyan-born Muslim who hates America.

Actual news may not get the hate juices flowing, but it may save one from embarrassing public remarks.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
