Letter: Pike’s candidacy is fishy

Am I the only one totally appalled at the slimy tactics being used by County Councilor David Madore and Co.? If he can’t have it, he’ll find a way to get an equally radical crony he can control positioned for his use. Possibly the only good that can come of Rep. Liz Pike’s write-in campaign is that our clever Columbian columnist will still have lots to write about.

In Webster’s, you will find the definitions of “pike” as follows: a long wooden shaft with a pointed head; or a long-snouted fish as just two of many definitions. One must admit, if any situation is “fishy,” this one qualifies. I haven’t seen this much slime since watching “Ghostbusters.”
