PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center announced Wednesday two new members of its senior leadership team.

Wade Hunt has been named the hospital’s chief operating officer and Ron Benfield has been hired as the chief financial officer for the PeaceHealth Columbia Network, which includes the local hospital and PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview.

Hunt brings international health care experience to Vancouver — coming most recently from the Middle East, according to a PeaceHealth news release. Benfield has more than 30 years of experience in the health care field, according to PeaceHealth.

The additions are among several PeaceHealth leadership changes made in the last year.
