Brush Prairie — Clark County Fire District 3 received an $8,000 Bucket Brigade donation from Georgia-Pacific Corp. The grant will supply money to buy several sets of new personal protective equipment, commonly referred to as “turnouts.”

Bucket Brigade grants are available to fire departments within a 30-mile radius of a Georgia-Pacific facility. According to their press release, many Georgia Pacific employees serve as volunteer firefighters, inspiring the corporation to help firefighters serving local communities.
