Six-foot-11 center Bryce Mulder scored 25 points and led a solid defensive effort in the season opener for the Beavers.
Mulder set the tone with a steal and a fastbreak dunk early in the first quarter, which ended with Woodland up 20-5.
Palmer Dinehart, a 6-foot-6 forward, added 19 points for Woodland.
“Just having another big guy down low really helps us out,” Woodland coach Andrew Johnson said.
Alex Dyer scored 12 points to lead Kalama (0-1).
