Fire investigators said that an electrical malfunction caused the fire that destroyed a Woodland mobile home Tuesday, displacing its sole occupant.

The fire was reported at about 11:45 a.m. at Woodland Mobile Home Resort, 39100 N.W. Pacific Highway.

Crews with Clark County Fire & Rescue responded and kept the fire from spreading to neighboring units, but officials said the mobile home was a complete loss.

The home and its content resulted in a loss estimated at $50,000, Deputy Clark County Fire Marshal Curtis Eavenson said.
