Industry fair teaches about careers paths

Students and community members are invited to learn about careers in Southwest Washington at Battle Ground Public Schools’ Industry Fair from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 25 at Battle Ground High School, 300 W. Main St., Battle Ground.

Attendees should bring copies of their r?sum? and dress in clothes appropriate for a job interview. Some companies have positions open now.

The event is sponsored by the school district, WorkSource and YouthWorks. Industries represented will include health science, manufacturing, technology, construction, finance, hospitality, retail, human services and transportation. Participants will have a chance to ask about the skills, abilities and educational requirements to work in various jobs. Representatives from more than 50 businesses will be available to answer questions about jobs available at their companies.
