The Oregon Air National Guard’s 142 Fighter Wing will perform night training missions for F-15 fighter jets Feb. 16-25.

Night trainings allow citizen-airmen pilots based at the Portland Air National Guard Base to stay current with Air Force requirements. Night flights are conducted nearly every month for pilots to practice nighttime maneuvers. Training flights will be finished before 10:30 p.m. each night.

The 142nd Fighter Wing uses F-15 Eagle fighter jets and patrols the Pacific Northwest from northern California to the Canadian border.
