GRANTS PASS, Ore. — An Oregon woman says more than 50 high-end knives and swords were stolen from her Grants Pass store.

The Daily Courier reports that Robin Boone says her Dan’l Boone’s Trading Post was broken into sometime between 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.

She says two windows that had bars over the glass were broken and a vehicle may have been used to pull off the bars. She says the thieves left the less expensive knives behind and made off with several Damascus knives, which sell for $70 to $180 each.

The thieves also ransacked the office and stole the video surveillance box.

Boone and her family have owned the store for more than 30 years.
