Vancouver — As a result of Vancouver Public Schools’ weather-related closure Jan. 4, the following changes are in effect for the school year:
• June 16 is a makeup day and now is the last day of school, barring additional weather-related closures. Graduation dates will not be affected.
• The June 14 early release is canceled.
• New two-hour early release dates are June 15 and 16.
Other possible snow makeup days are, in priority order, June 17, June 20 and Jan. 29. The state requires districts to hold no less than 180 school days per school year.
