Girls basketball: Kelso 39, Fort Vancouver 27

Sydney Brugman scored 10 points but it wasn’t enough as Fort Vancouver fell short in its 3A Greater St. Helens League opener.

Molly Deleo added six for Fort (3-9, 0-1).

Hunter Thomson-Terrel scored 12 points to lead Kelso (4-7, 1-1).
