A Vancouver man was arrested after he reportedly fired a gun multiple times outside a bar in Vancouver’s Bagley Downs neighborhood early Tuesday.

Vancouver police were called to the QuarterDeck Tavern, 4300 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., at about 1 a.m. for a report of a weapons disturbance, Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.

DeAngelo J. Johnson, 28, was kicked out of the bar, went to his vehicle to get a handgun and fired at least two rounds into the air, Kapp said.

Johnson wasn’t in the area when officers arrived, but police later located him and arrested him on suspicion of drive-by shooting, Kapp said.

Darrell C. Flenerd, an acquaintance of Johnson, was with Johnson at the time of the arrest but not during the incident, Kapp said, and Flenerd was arrested on outstanding warrants.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
