Boys basketball: Stevenson 55, Columbia-White Salmon 33

The visiting Bulldogs outscored the Bruins 22-8 in the second quarter to gain the upper hand in the Class 1A Trico League game.

Six players scored for Stevenson in the decisive quarter, when the Bulldogs were able to create turnovers with pressure defense and convert transition opportunities.

Austin Brannan and Alex Delarose each scored 12 points to pace a balanced attack for Stevenson (4-11, 2-6).

Aiden Trummel scored 12 to lead Columbia (2-12, 1-7).
