OLYMPIA – Mechanical issues led to the brief closure of the State Route 104 Hood Canal Bridge to vehicle and marine traffic.
During an 8 a.m. marine opening Sunday, the bridge’s western half malfunctioned, closing lanes in both directions. The bridge reopened three hours later.
