Letter: Cleveland right on issues

By Sophie G. Beagle, VANCOUVER
Published: July 26, 2016, 6:00am

Annette Cleveland is running to be re-elected to the state Senate for the 49th District. Cleveland is a lifelong resident of Clark County. She is committed to full funding of public schools, targeting programs in math and science. Cleveland opposes cuts to higher education and will pursue workforce development partnerships at local colleges. Having worked for the Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, she knows job creation and small businesses must be our top focus. She believes that expanding our growing technology sector and investing in needed transportation projects should be priorities. Cleveland believes that keeping health care affordable for businesses and families is critical to a strong community. She is endorsed by the Washington Education Association.

There is no better voice for Clark County families and our priorities than Sen. Annette Cleveland — please give her your vote.
