Vancouver police are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects in three separate crimes that occurred earlier this month: two auto prowls and the theft of a credit card.

On June 7, officers took a report of an auto prowl that occurred in the parking lot of 24 Hour Fitness, 10319 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd. The suspect in that case took someone’s garage door opener and attempted to burglarize their home, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

Surveillance cameras in the parking lot captured an image of the suspect and an associated vehicle, a dark-colored Chrysler PT Cruiser. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Officer Darren Oceguera at darren.oceguera@cityofvancouver.us.

Earlier this month, on June 1, officers took a report of a local credit card theft in which the suspect later made purchases along the Interstate 5 corridor, including in Longview, Tacoma and Seattle.

Surveillance cameras in Longview captured the suspect, and police are asking that those who recognize the suspect contact Vancouver Police Technician Donna Batt at donna.batt@cityofvancouver.us.

That same day, police also took a report of a car prowl at the Clark College Athletic Annex, 1800 E. McLoughlin Blvd., where a victim saw a man break into her vehicle, steal items inside and run away, police said.

The victim was able to take a photo of the suspect with her cellphone. Anyone who knows the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Officer David Chamblee at david.chamblee@cityofvancouver.us.
