Clark takes fourth at NWAC track championships

Both the Clark College men’s and women’s track teams placed fourth at the Northwest Athletic Conference Championships on Tuesday at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Ore.
Olivia Rose won the triple jump, flying a quarter inch past 37 feet. Union grad Tayler Troupe placed second in the long jump.
Alanni Wingert finished third in the 1,500 meters and sixth in the 800 meters. Sadie Dalgleish finished third in the 3,000 meter steeplechase while fellow Clark distance runner Tresa Marsh finished fifth in the 5,000 meters one day after taking second in the 10,000.
For the Clark men, Hockinson grad Quentin Sills placed second in the javelin with a throw of 191 feet. That was four inches and one place ahead of Mountain View grad Lexington Reese, who throws for Mt. Hood.
Washoual grad Thomas Normandeau finished third in the 1,500 and fellow Washougal grad Isaac Stinchfield placed third in the 3,000 steeplechase.
Evergreen grad Te’kwon Wallace was third in the 400 hurdles. Brandon Stribling was second in the long jump.
