Save The Date: Virtually soar at Open Cockpit Day; there’s magic in the air

See a variety of vintage aircraft during Open Cockpit Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. Visitors can climb into the pilot seat of open plane, or try a bit of virtual flying using the Real Flight simulator. The annual rose show by the Fort Vancouver Rose Society will celebrate “Sunshine and Roses,” 1 to 4 p.m. June 4 with competitors from the Northwest showcasing the best of their cultivated blooms. East Woods Presbyterian Church will host the Food-Art-Music Festival, a family-friendly festival featuring food, desserts and work by local artisans. The Clark College Women’s Choral Ensemble, under the direction of April B.
