Columbia River graduate Ana Delgadillo has been honored both on and off the soccer field.

The junior defender for Concordia University was named first-team all-conference for the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Delgadillo helped Concordia allow the second-fewest goals (12) in the GNAC this season. She was one of six players to start and play in all 17 games this season, logging a team-best 1,426 minutes.

She also received all-academic honors by the College Sports Information Directors of America western region. Delgadillo is a psychology student with a 3.88 grade-point average.

Also on the all-academic team is Ana’s sister, Lili Delgadillo. She is the lone sophomore on the all-academic team, thanks to her 3.89 GPA in health and human performance.

A goalkeeper at Montana State-Billings, Delgadillo has started all 17 games for the Yellowjackets this season, making 84 saves and tallying a goals-against average of 1.64.

Bobbi Eckler, a Union grad, was named second-team all-conference in the GNAC. The Concordia forward has started all 17 games, recording five assists.

Taylor Hallquist, a Columbia River grad, was named honorable mention all-conference in the GNAC. The sophomore defender helped Western Washington finish conference play 12-0-0.

Brian Humphreys, a Camas grad, finished second at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational to lead Boise State men’s golf to a fifth-place finish in the 13-team tournament. He shot 7-under in the three-day event to finish two strokes off the lead on Oct. 29 in Stockton, Calif.

It was Humphreys’ second-straight top-two finish after he captured co-medalist honors at the Ogio Utah Invite in Park City.

“Brian has been awesome, maybe even more impressive this week than last,” Boise State coach Dan Potter told BroncoSports.com. “He looks completely comfortable playing well, and that’s a big deal.”

Kyle Morris, A Ridgefield grad, was named the Men’s Soccer Defensive Student Athlete of the Week by the Northwest Conference for Oct. 24-30. The Whitworth junior defender scored the match-winning goal in overtime against Willamette to clinch the conference title for the Pirates. Morris has started 16 of 17 games this season for Whitworth, which has outscored opponents 27-11 en route to a 10-1-2 conference record.
