Boys basketball: Columbia River 53, Fort Vancouver 42

Spencer Long scored 22 points and Jacob Hjort added 16, leading Columbia River to a non-league win over Fort Vancouver.

“We couldn’t stop Spencer,” Fort Vancouver coach James Ensley said.

The Trappers had cut the River lead to three points early in the fourth quarter.

“They inched away from us,” Ensley said. “They continue to do what they do.”

Johnny Green led Fort Vancouver with 13 points.
