Letter: Probst serves with integrity

We are voting for Tim Probst. He has served our community with integrity, and he received respect from both sides of the aisle when he was a representative. Tim stood up for education and equal rights for women, and sponsored a scholarship program that has helped more than 10,000 students. He has also supported the compromise replacement of the Interstate 5 Bridge that Oregon would have funded and his opponent voted against.

Tim Probst and his wife are deeply committed to a strong educational system for our state. We missed the opportunity to have Tim represent us when we elected Don Benton. Let’s not make the same mistake again.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
