Letter: Resents major party candidates

By Joyce Wentzell, Vancouver

I am affiliated with a certain party, but feel selecting a president should not be limited to my affiliation. I have watched all of the debates, many of the campaign speeches and still do not know which person to select to represent me and my country.

Both are immoral and without integrity, which should be a qualifying standard to lead this country. I am concerned for myself as to which person deserves my vote. I suppose I could select the person I think has the higher standard, but that margin of standard is fractional.

I want to vote for a person who will be able to implement some of the things that were promised, but know each will be limited because of the House and Senate. If the bodies remain Republican, Mrs. Clinton will have an uphill fight and Mr. Trump has alienated members of his own party.

I resent not having a clear choice in the person who represents my country.
