Letter: Trump is our last hope

Many Americans see the culture of Washington, D.C., as an engine of corruption, unconstitutional foreign intervention and wanton spending.

Donald Trump, chosen as the Republican candidate through an arduous primary, offers voters a slim, last hope that corrupt political games inherent in our capitol can be addressed.

Hillary Clinton calls us “the deplorables.”

Most major institutions and interest groups are in the tank for the Clinton global open borders political machine. They are apparently convinced that the Clintons will not rock the boat.

Trump voters have to shut out the noise, get their ballots in and hope that we prevail.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
