Letter: Herrera Beutler wrong on health care

Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas, is not the independent-minded politician she claims to be.

Looking at her voting record she votes as Speaker Ryan tells her to. Her continued votes to repeal the Affordable Care Act are most hypocritical. Without ACA her own child could not be insured. I’m sure she appreciates the coverage ACA has afforded her family. ACA is not perfect, but Republicans have offered no alternatives that would cover pre-existing conditions. They don’t care if millions of Americans are once again without health insurance.
