Letter: Secret plans don’t work very well

Lest we forget, Richard Nixon, while running for president, said he had a secret plan to end the Vietnam War. Well, Nixon won and the war went on for eight more years. And he also invaded Cambodia.

Donald Trump, an unapologetic pathological liar, has a plan to end the war. He knows more about ISIS than the generals. Then he is going to ask the same generals how to end it.

Just like Nixon, Trump does not want to let the enemy know his secret plan. How did that work out for us?
