Clark County – Clark County citizens will be participating in a nationwide event to show support for immigrants, refugees, workers and minorities.
The march called Rise Up! will start at 5:30 p.m. Monday, starting from 750 Anderson St. and heading to Esther Short Park.
Speeches will begin at the park starting at 6 p.m. Speakers include an official from American Civil Liberties Union, an American Muslim and a young immigrant.
Several local Indivisible groups and MoveOn Clark County, among others, are behind the effort.
