The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In July, the Dental Commission charged dental assistant Patricia M. Nastasia with unprofessional conduct. Nastasia allegedly didn’t reimburse the commission for $1,000 in costs as mandated in a 2014 stipulation.

In July, the Nursing Assistant Program charged certified nursing assistant Jeana M. Perkins with unprofessional conduct. In 2017, charges say, Perkins applied to reactivate her credential, which expired in 2013. In 2013, Perkins was convicted of vehicular assault in connection with a motor vehicle crash in which she drove while intoxicated. The crash seriously injured the driver of the other vehicle, according to charges. In 2014, Perkins was convicted of domestic violence harassment.

In July, the Oregon State Board of Nursing revoked the registered nurse license of Deanna L. McShane of Vancouver for failing to comply with the terms and conditions of the Health Professionals’ Services Program.
