The Monarch hit 10 3-pointers and pulled away in the second half to lock up the No. 2 seed to the district tournament.

Woodland, which was tied 28-28 at halftime, will be the No. 3 seed from the 2A GSHL.

“Every time we’d make a run, they’d hit a 3,” Woodland coach Glen Flanagan. “That was basically the story. They could shoot, and we couldn’t.”
