Clark College announced last week that it will welcome its first class of students to the newly opened Tod and Maxine McClaskey Culinary Institute this fall.

The college will hold two free informational sessions on Thursday and on Monday, March 6.

Both sessions will be held at 6 p.m. in PUB 161 on Clark College’s main campus at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way.

Clark culinary students can choose between cuisine or professional baking and pastry arts.

The school will offer one-year certificate programs and two-year associate degree programs.

Clark College revamped its program with a new facility built thanks to a $4 million gift from the Tod and Maxine McClaskey Family Foundation.
