Esther Short — Donations from the December Walk & Knock food drive were sorted on Jan. 5 by 21 members of the Happy Hoppers square dance group. The drive brought in more than 228,000 pounds of nonperishable food, which all goes to the Clark County Food Bank. The square dancers sorted through the food at FISH of Vancouver, a food pantry in downtown that has been open for more than 40 years and provides emergency food for roughly 1,200 households each month.
