Letter: Clinton actions are to blame

So when is the blame game going to end? The Jan. 13 story “Comey, FBI, Justice to be probed over emails,” seems to be another attempt to find someone to blame for the election results.

Now, I don’t claim to be the brightest bulb on the tree. But should not the investigation have started when Attorney General Loretta Lynch met with former president Bill Clinton on the tarmac? Or, at the very least, when she announced she would not do her job, but would follow the recommendation of FBI Director James Comey?

Silly me, I thought the job of the FBI was to investigate, and the job of justice/AG was to determine if there was need, or grounds, to proceed with charges.

Given the list of people who have crossed the Clintons perhaps she was wise, but given David Petraeus was forced to resign as CIA director over mishandling of documents, and Martha Stewart served time for lying to the FBI, it seems like Hillary Clinton got off pretty easy. But then that seems to be true with all politicians — do the crime, not the time. Sad.
