Letter: Nothing to fear but Trump

As to affectionate nicknames for The Greatest President America Will Ever Have (“A nickname for Donald,” Dolores Kahn, Jan. 17), how about these: “Boss Tweet,” “Chief Little Hands,” “the Oracle of Drumpf Tower,” “the Muscovyan Candidate,” “Putin’s Poodle,” and “the Flagitious Voluptuary” (the latter one is the nickname thought up for Aaron Burr by Alexander Hamilton, but it is still serviceable).

I’d also like to suggest the following pieces of soaring rhetoric for the Inaugural Tweet: “With Malice to All, and Charity to None … ,” “Ask not what you can do for your country, ask what your country can do for me,” and, of course, “You have nothing to fear but Trump himself.”

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
