Letter: Trump is disrespectful

By Mark J. Corcoran, VANCOUVER

Now that President Donald Trump has made disparaging remarks about former President Obama and the U.S. intelligence services, and the brave Americans who have died and are risking their lives for us, while on foreign soil, will the far right call his statements treasonous? Remember the comments about President Bush made by Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines while overseas?

I have never completely 100 percent agreed or disagreed with any president. I did, however, give them the respect they deserved. Honor, respect, integrity — Trump has none of these attributes. I have never been so disgusted by the words and actions of the person presently occupying the Oval Office.
