Vancouver – Share raised a record-breaking $221,376 on April 22 at its Vintage Vegas Gala that benefits the nonprofit homeless service provider. This was despite holding the gala at WareHouse ’23, a smaller venue than the nonprofit typically uses for large fundraising events.

“Share’s annual gala was truly an exemplary example of our community’s generosity,” said Diane McWithey, Share’s executive director, in a new release. “We are truly grateful to our presenting sponsor Riverview Community Bank and all of our sponsors, without whom this event would not have happened. Funds raised at our gala are vital in ensuring that men, women and children facing hunger and homelessness in our community attain every opportunity to have access to nutritious food for themselves, and their family, secure housing and build a self-sufficient future.”
