Vancouver’s Foster Langsdorf became the Pac-12 Conference’s all-time leading goal scorer as the Stanford soccer team beat California 1-0 on Thursday.

Langsdorf scored in the 75th minute as the No. 3-ranked Cardinal improved to 15-2-1.

The senior from Mountian View High School now has 35 career goals, breaking the record set by Washington’s Kevin Forrest in 2007.

“He came here as a defensive midfielder and he’ll now leave as the Pac-12’s all-time leading scorer,” said head coach Jeremy Gunn. “He’s unbelievable – an incredible player and a wonderful person. This all comes from his hard work – you will not meet someone who works harder than Foster does.”
