Esther Short — Rotary Club of Vancouver members visited Share on Sept. 8 for a service project. Twelve Rotarians painted sections of Share as part of their “Service Above Self” project. The Rotary’s service club meets noon on Wednesdays at WareHouse ’23, 100 Columbia St., No. 102, Vancouver. The service club participates in projects throughout the year, including handing out dictionaries to students, working as reading or lunch buddies at schools and sponsoring elementary schools. They also go out in the community and do more hands-on projects, including planting trees, clearing ivy or filling food backpacks for children. For more information about the club, visit www.vancouverrotaryclub.org.
