Great Floors of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, has expanded its footprint with the purchase of Michael’s Floor Covering in Vancouver.
The acquisition expands Great Floors’ presence in Western Washington, giving the company 12 locations along the Interstate 5 corridor.
Both companies are family-owned, serving clients ranging from individuals to builders and commercial clients, said Doug Chadderdon, Great Floors president and CEO.
Michael’s Floor Covering was founded in 2010 by Mike Haasl, with operations in the Vancouver-Portland area.
Great Floors, headquartered in Coeur d’Alene, has more than 500 employees. Great Floors also makes countertops and does kitchen and bathroom design at its Post Falls granite production site.
