The Human Rights Campaign’s Portland branch is collecting donations for homeless youth and hosting service projects in the Portland metro area, including two in downtown Vancouver.

Triple Point, a support group and drop-in program for LGBTQ youth, and Janus Youth, another drop-in facility, are seeking volunteers to clean and paint from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Those interested in helping on the holiday, a national day of service, can contact Tony Beeler at beeler.tony@gmail.com or 503-501-8998. More information is online at www.facebook.com/HRCPDX.
