Get ready for some new Tom Petty music.

The late rocker’s estate is releasing a box set of music this fall that will include — among other things — unreleased recordings and alternate versions of classic cuts.

“An American Treasure” comes out Sept. 28 via Reprise Records and will also feature rarities, historic live performances and deep tracks, the Petty website said Wednesday.

Also on Wednesday, “CBS This Morning” aired archival footage along with cuts from a new song, “Keep a Little Soul,” recording during the 1982 sessions for the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers album “Long After Dark.”

Petty, whose career spanned more than 40 years, died Oct. 2 at age 66.

His second wife, Dana, and one of his daughters, Adria, are executive producers and the primary advocates for the 60-track set, describing it as “a tribute and love letter … and a strong musical portrait of the person they know in their hearts.”

Heartbreakers members Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench and Tom Petty’s studio collaborator Ryan Ulyate are producers and curators of the package.

“Everyone involved in this project chose each track with tremendous care and deep respect for the body of work Tom Petty created,” Adria and Dana Petty said via the Tom Petty website.

“We can’t wait to share with Tom’s fans this musical portrait of an artist who deeply affected our culture and indelibly touched the lives of fans the world over.”

Available for preorder, the set will come out on two-CD, four-CD and six-LP incarnations. A “Super Deluxe Limited Edition” of the four-CD version will include an 84-page hardcover book, a lithograph of the Shepard Fairey cover art and a limited number of reproduced, handwritten lyric sheets from four songs.

You can hear “Keep a Little Soul” now on various streaming services.
