Letter: Getting a Long

By Marie Treadway, Camas

If you are done with right versus left political grandstanding, I implore you to do one last thing — attend a town hall with Carolyn Long. When she tells you that she knows how to break through congressional gridlock and end divisive rhetoric, you will believe her. She’s been mentoring the next generation of public servants on civil discourse across the political spectrum for over two decades. She will tell you it starts with leadership in both parties who understand the key to communicating is listening, not lecturing. This is how we flip the script: Flip the 3rd with Carolyn Long.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
