Southwest Washington residents will once again have an opportunity to weigh in as Oregon considers tolling on Interstate 5 and Interstate 205. Although the Oregon Department of Transportation is not hosting a second open house in Clark County, three local agencies are hosting public meetings to discuss the Value Pricing Feasibility Analysis and tolling. The first meeting is hosted by the Clark County Council from 5 to 7 p.m. March 27 on the sixth floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.

Vancouver Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle will make good on her promise to provide another opportunity for local input with a city council workshop from 4 to 5 p.m. April 2 at Vancouver City Hall, 415 W. Sixth St.

Finally, the SW Washington Regional Transportation Council will hold a meeting from 4 to 5:45 p.m. May 1 at the sixth floor training room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.

The bistate Value Pricing Policy Advisory Committee, of which McEnerny-Ogle is a member along with Clark County Councilor Eileen Quiring and Washington State Department of Transportation Southwest Regional Administrator Kris Strickler, will next meet from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. April 11 at ODOT’s regional office, 123 N.W. Flanders St., Portland. A recommendation from the committee is due in June.
