Eric the Hugger! What more is there to say? This dapper 2-year-old came to us as a stray and is now seeking a forever home where love abounds and hugs are allowed. To keep him in tip-top shape, he'll need to be an indooronly kitty, and he'd like to meet any children he would be living with to make sure everyone knows the right way to hug a cat. These pets are among those available for adoption from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver. The Humane Society is closed to the public on Mondays. Fees -- which can include registered microchip, health exam, a spay or neuter certificate and vaccination -- vary.
