Update: Accused killer of police dog in court

I just updated the article following a conversation with Camara Banfield, the attorney prosecuting Graves' case. He faces a little more than 10 years on the assault charge. He could get one year for harming a police dog, plus 6 months on a deadly weapon enhancement.

With that, let the conversation continue.

Traffic operation nets 30 citations

I updated a few paragraphs this morning to reflect some new information I didn't get until after my deadline had passed. The sign was installed a little more than a year ago, according to Brooke Porter of Vancouver Public Works. The idea emerged from discussions between the city's traffic and engineering division, Vancouver police and area neighborhood associations.

Thanks for reading.
