It's interesting to read the furor over adding " Fort " to our name, but I'm not sure that would clear anything up. I've never had anyone question my home town, or confuse it with our northern neighbor. I still remember a fabulous letter that appeared in this column years ago while this same debate was going on.It clarified the issue for me. The writer suggested that in order to avoid the confusion, we should instead change the name of Vancouver to Ottowa.I still chuckle when I think of it. C'mon - leave it alone. We don't need to change anything.
