Why would a job seeker want to work for WaferTech?

WaferTech offers a dynamic team environment where ambition to achieve personal, team, and company goals provides opportunity for a rewarding work experience. The following comprehensive benefit package is provided to meet the needs of our employees and their family members:

How is WaferTech different from other employers?

Our vision is to be the most advanced and largest technology and foundry services provider to fabless companies and in partnership with them, to forge a powerful competitive force in the semiconductor industry. We take our core values of integrity, commitment, innovation and customer trust very seriously, and incorporate these values into everything we do.

WaferTech is proud to be a valued member of the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) family of fabrication facilities (Fabs), including a newly announced facility in Arizona, which comprise the world’s largest dedicated semiconductor foundry operation. As a pure-play semiconductor foundry, our business model focuses solely on manufacturing customers’ devices. Even though you won’t see our name on products, computer chips manufactured in Camas can be found in the latest cell phones, automobiles, medical devices and thousands of other electronic devices sold around the world.

What qualities does WaferTech look for in employees?

WaferTech seeks those who enjoy working in a fast-paced job as part of a team, are committed to success, and have a great attendance record. We are always eager to have self-motivated talent join us and we will train you to succeed in our high-technology manufacturing environment.

How is WaferTech unique as an employer?

WaferTech contributes to a healthy culture through a comprehensive wellness and appreciation program that empowers employees and their families to live longer, healthier and happier lives. WaferTech employees lead committees focused on major areas of Wellness which include: community activities, physical activities, social activities, and financial stability.

While some current COVID restrictions are in place for safety, employees can normally enjoy our on-site fitness center and weight room (open 24/7), recreation and game room, private walking trails, new mothers’ room, on-site physical therapist (free to employees), employee gardens and an on-site subsidized café.

The Community Volunteer Committee encourages employees to actively participate and lead activities to support the local community, and we average 1400 volunteer hours per year. We organize clothing, toy and shoe drives to benefit those in need in our community, and support the Camas Education Foundation, College Success Foundation, and Camas High School math/science magnet programs.

In the past year, WaferTech donated over 4,000 masks and nearly 10,000 gloves to the Clark County Department of Health to support hospitals and long-term care facilities. We collected piles of donations for families displaced by the wildfires in Washington and Oregon. WaferTech partnered with Earth Friendly Recycling to recycle over 3000 pounds of Styrofoam from employees after the holidays. WaferTech employees, in partnership with the Camas/Washougal Rotary Club and WaferTech, ended the year with a generous monetary donation of over $15,000 to help Clark County families through Santa’s Posse.
