JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. (AP) — About 100 soldiers are returning Tuesday afternoon to Joint Base Lewis-McChord after nearly a year in Afghanistan.

The Army says the members of the 24th Quartermaster Company helped supply and support U.S. and NATO forces by running convoys to combat outposts.
