Skin graft surgery for Anacortes refinery victims

SEATTLE (AP) — The two survivors of the Anacortes refinery fire are undergoing skin graft surgery at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Spokeswoman Susan Gregg-Hanson said Wednesday that Lew Janz remains in critical condition and Matt Gumbel in serious condition. Both are being treated for major burns in the intensive care unit.

Five other workers at the Tesoro refinery were killed by Friday’s explosive fire.
