SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. (AP) — King County Search and Rescue crews are attempting to help an injured person in the Commonwealth Basin area just north of Snoqualmie Pass.

Sheriff’s spokesman John Urquhart says searchers were called out at about 1:30 p.m. Friday to look for the 28-year-old victim near Kendall Peak. He says details are sketchy, including the nature of the accident and its cause.
