The Clark-Skamania Drug Task Force arrested two men on drug and firearms charges Friday after executing a search warrant at a Vancouver home.

The task force executed the search warrant at about 10:45 a.m. at a duplex at 4702 B St. James Road. During the search of the residence, task force members found about 10 grams of methamphetamine, which is worth about $600, two loaded handguns and more than $8,900 in cash. The search was the result of a six month drug investigation.

Shortly before the search, the regional SWAT team stopped the main suspect, 27-year-old Javier Orozco-Garcia, during a high-risk traffic stop. Jaime Martinez-Orozco, 25, was also in the vehicle. The men were pulled over in a nearby parking lot as they left the duplex where they both live.

Both are being charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (methamphetamine) and illegal alien in possession of a firearm.

The investigation is ongoing.
